During the great Depression crime was everywhere since the crash of the stock market causing the biggest Recession the world d has ever seen. Since there were no decent jobs around, some people started making job for their selves in organized crime. Prohibition was still in affect and many people saw this as their gateway to riches. Other people wanted more then just riches off of bootleg boozes. They wanted the money that was in the bank and people like Bonnie and Clyde and Ma Barker. John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) was truly PUBLIC ENEMY#1 making him the prime suspect for J. Edgar Hoover's (Billy Crudup) FBI with his top agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) on Dillinger's trail. No jail could keep Dillinger and his gang of outlaws, but his charm seems to get a miles away winning over Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard), who late become his girl. He even won over the American public that the banks were the true reason for America's Depression. Hoover had other sociopath criminals like Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham) and Alvin Karpis (Giovanni Ribisi) that he wanted along with Dillinger that were all America's "Public Enemies".

The newest trailer for the last Airbender is the international trailer, and it really goes a lot deeper and shows more than any other trailer I've posted for this movie so far. I am really looking forward to this one and can't express my excitement enough. Loved watching the show with my son. What do you guys think? too childish?


Prince of Persia Movie Trailer

The Prince of Persia movie trailer has made it's way to the web and I'm not sure I like what I see. The trailer has all the charactersitics of a Jerry Bruckheimer gig, however, I'm starting to get the bad 'Pirates' vibe from watching this trailer. I mean "At world's end" bad. It seems like the movie is a little over the top and overboard. Lots of explosions, lots of fire, and even some magic. Not sure what all is going on, and I honestly haven't played...


NY Anime Festival 2009

There was a lot that went on at this year's New York Anime Festival, and on the other hand there wasn't anything going on at this year's Anime Festival. I enjoyed the cosplay and I enjoyed the... schwag?! Well, somehow buried amongst the mayhem and half-nekkid cosplayers wandering around the Jacob Javits center was this little gem that seemed to sneak up on us. The game's name... escapes me right now. Fairytale stories or something. I don't think...

I know the 80s is the new fashion trend right now with kids who didn't not grow up during that era like I did. I still say that I was still a baby while only in Kindergarten when the 80s ended... But come on now!!! This is really getting out of hand with these teenagers and even young adults dressing like douche bags.
