From a playability standpoint this game is really long, some 52 levels I believe it was. I don’t even know what the final time stamp was on the game, but it took about 3-4 days of solid sessions, basically time you actually commit to playing a game cause you need X amount of hours to play and progress far enough. This is a good game. However that in itself is it’s problem. Remember when I said this game at moments felt like God of War, but never reached that pinnacle of being as good or better, but it would have moments. Beautiful looking game, scenery and art direction is really nice. Some of the character designs, mainly the love interest in wonky especially given everyone else. It has a Guillermo Del Toro feel with some of the creatures which was actually bizarre, refreshing but also kind of copy cat. This game looks beautiful; it tries to be epic and comes off feeling like I’m playing Lord of the Rings. Lighting and sound seemingly have high production values.
