Some image’s of the armor being used in the Favreau adaptation of Iron Man have made their way to the internets, and new cast members are being announced and thrown in the mix to highlight the occasion.
IGN has the scoop with the first look of the armor, but from what I’ve seen, I can say that it reminds me of the original iron man armor.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that. In fact, I see it as a huge positive that Favreau decided to include this golden nugget of comic history, as it’s obvious the red and gold incarnation of the armor will definitely make an appearance in the film as well. Which means the guy reads his comics. Idunno if he had it down since a kid with a painting on his wall or anything, but I like the vibe this film gives me with the cast choices alone!
And speaking of cast choices, there are new cast members! Why yes, Shaun Toub (Crash) and Leslie Bibb are both the latest additions to the film’s credits. Good stuff, great to see that this guy is also mindful of the crew’s chemistry as fellow Crash star Terrence Howard is signed to play Jim Rhodes. Great stuff all around, my how I love details.
