Impressions: Uncharted 3

Plot: The narrative opens with a quote T.E. Lawrence’s Seven Pillars of Wisdom: “All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible. This I did.” The plot revolves around the ... Read More!

Trailer: The Conduit 2

I played a lot of the first Conduit on initial release as many people, including myself, saw it as the FPS of choice on Nintendo’s console that unapologetically borrowed and was influenced by some of the bigger name games on rival consoles. I’ve been keeping up with the sequel to the lone bastion of FPS gaming on the Wii and it looks like the new game will do a bit of ... Read More!

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime Dev Diary

I’m a huge Ghostbusters fan and usually geek out at the mere thought of the theme song, proton packs, or just enough bright lights “crossing streams” before my eyes so I always enjoy when someone shares my enthusiasm for the franchise. Today we have a look at the dev diary for the latest Ghostbusters game: Source: Joystiq I love me some Ghostbusters and look forward to any ... Read More!

Batman: Arkham City trailer premiere

The first trailer for the sequel to the critically acclaimed Batman Arkham Asylum has made its way online and shows off Batman, Catwoman, and Mr. Harvey “Two-Face” Dent himself in what appears to be some of the dirties, wettest, grittiest locations I’ve ever seen in a videogame in my life that undoubtedly pushes the Unreal Engine in directions I’d never imagined for a ... Phoenix and Haggar Join cast of Marvel vs. Capcom 3

I’m really starting to get excited about this game as Capcom continues to pummel us with more characters, screens, and videos of the latest additions to the cast. I was thinking about holding off on picking this game up because of the dust that’s being collected on my copies of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Street Fighter 4, and the dust on the store shelf that has the Super Street Fighter ... Media Overload: Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare

The upcoming Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare pack is coming and I just don’t know how to contain the excitement. Red Dead Redemption was a pleasant surprise for me (check out my impressions) and now a new reinvigorating DLC is coming for the game that is just begging for me to evict NBA2K 11 from my PS3. Now if only Sony or MS could sponsor some ‘Episodes’ for this game ... Read More!

Captain America: Super Soldier gameplay

I didn’t even know that there was a Captain America game coming out. I mean, I should have assumed because you would have to be a pretty low profile Marvel movie to not get a tie-in game. REAAL Low. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised to see stumble across the game at Comic con. I must admit, I get the impression that they started development on this game sometime in the last 12 ... Goldeneye Wii: Multiplayer

Somehow at the recent NYCC we were able to capture some hands off video of the upcoming Goldeneye for Wii and its split screen multiplayer. It was a “hands-off” experience because those damn nerds can give away free hugs but not the Wiimote. Must be a testament to the fun or something. Either way, the game is coming along nicely, I just don’t know how comfortable I feel ... Read More!

NYCC Developer’s Panel: Epic Mickey

This weekend I had the chance to listen to the developers behind Epic Mickey at their NYCC panel. Entering the panel I was a bit puzzled by what was going on, but they were getting stuff checked out and ready before they start of the discussion. I was a bit shocked that they were starting it already. I must say for the time I spent at the panel it was very well put together with few technical ... Read More!
