There’s a nice, meaty, interview with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime over at N’gai Croal’s “Level Up” Blog.
I wont spoil too much in the interview if you want to jump over and read the whole thing, but here is one excerpt that irked me. Irked me Bad.
Where is Metroid? Metroid is not going to shipby June. We’ve announced all of our games through the end of June. Andthe fact with Metroid is we want to make sure that that game isperfect. Unfortunately, Metroid Prime 2 didn’t live up to ourexpectations, it didn’t live up to Retro’s expectations–
Now, I understand that when a game undersells, you want the follow up to rectify the issue. But c’mon now, this system is starting to instigate all types of absurdity and crazyness. Hell, half of America can’t find a Wii, and the other half dont have anything to play with it (leave the gutter, NOW).
