Nintendo Europe has confirmed the news that a Nintendo Wii title, not named Pokemon, is going to be getting some WiFi love this year. Here’s my favorite excerpt from the announcement:
One of the many modes this game features is the multiplayer mode which can see up to four players in any one game (players must split between two teams). Players can also utilize Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to take on players from across the globe! Multiplayer modes include Ranked mode where players can compete to climb up leader boards and Unranked mode where they can quickly select and play friends.
Yes, yes, and throw in some more Yes on the side. Though, I am not much of a footie fan, I am an Nintendo-online enthusiast. Seeing more games take advantage of this feature just sounds like smart business. But what do I know about smart business?
