Director Guillermo Del Toro has decided to spill some interesting plot tidbits regarding his upcoming film “Hellboy 2: The Golden Army”. He even went as far as to bring up that the sequel will have quite a bit of commonalities with “Pan’s Labyrinth“, his 2006 film. So much that he seemingly raised concern from Hellboy creator Mike Mignola:
“Mike was quite horrified by how much I haddeviated from what we had talked about, especially at some of the quote,unquote whimsical elements, the parts about magic and the fairy world. But thenfortunately, he saw Pan’s Labyrinth … and he realised that the two movieswould have some parallels.”
