It seems that the next film in the Batman franchise won’t be featuring the type of ‘dual character’ that a lot of fans have speculated would appear within the next film. It has already been confirmed that Harvey Dent will have a role in the film, as Aaron Eckhart has been cast to the role, but when write David Goyer was prompted with the question, he lays the proverbial hammer on the pesty rumor with one quick quip:
“Two-Face? Hmm, don’t think so…,”
Yea. Like I said, a hammer. So what the heck will Aaron Eckhart be doing in the film if he’s not gonna go all flippy-coin psycho? Setting up for the next sequel, like a good kid is supposed to. The last attempt of transferring the two-face character from comic to film, we saw Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey drag their way through a contractual obligation for 2hrs, so here’s hoping the momentum from the first film will only be amplified by the new pacing for introducing villains.
