The site is seriously lacking in the graphics. I know, I’m a lazy fuck. The site is really incomplete/inconsistent with graphics giving the site a slightly dull look. I got plans.
See, I don’t have a lot of time on my hands. It’s taking me over a year to get to the point that the site is in now. I work full time and manage to throw up news for archiving purposes. I know I get almost diddly squat hits now, but I intend for this to be an investment for the future so that I have some credit to go with the site and it’s own unique news library from which to reference. If/When I get more people on board to help me build up this site, I can use the news archive as a resource and learning tool.
But none of this explains why the site is so ugly. I recently threw up a half assed attempt at a banner in order to help distinguish and commercialize the site if only a little. I will continue to build on the scheme and try to optimize it over time. But realistically, I don’t expect this to be a short project unless I find reason for it to be.
I have a full plate with a full time job and more, mainting a news based commentary site is timely. I can only devote but so much time to interject my true personality into any of my news posts. Seriously, I’m a real ass hole.
And so, I only do what I can when I can. I do have some talent. Check out my old portfolio.
Just give me time. Things are gonna get nice.
