I a rare glipse into the Nintendo development process, Nintendo has posted a stories with the developers of the Wii Photo channel, amongst others, and their approach to designing the idea of “watching photo’s”. You can check out the stories, and the evil Mii duplicates of each developer over on the official page.
All interesting stuff, im particularly amused when they mentioned “The Cats in the Photo and News channels are brother and sister”. REALLY! Just how many people are living in this thing anyway? do I have to, like, do anything to not get the ASPCA all over my ass for keeping my cats in my wii? ok. I’ll stop.
But seriously, it’s a rare and interesting look into what goes on to inject that certain “Nintendo magic” into their software.
