I must really like to put myself through torture. To watch this bullcrap excuse of a movie is like asking someone just shoot me in the head. I don’t know about you, but I just think all these video game companies must love these movie studios destroying the characters and stories they diligently developed. Don’t get me wrong they have screwed up a few comics and some TV-series adapted into movies, (do I have to remind anyone of X3 or Spider-man 3?).
Now where should I begin with this movie? The whole story is all awful from beginning, middle, to end. It’s questionable if the movie studios even take the time out to play the games that outline the story of each of these characters. If my memory serves me right Kazuya Mishima and his father Heihachi Mishima didn’t care about taking over Tekken. Also Jin Kazama’s mother Jun Kazama told him about his grandfather Heihachi, and that if anything happened to her that he was to seek out his grandfather. Also, Jin has a love/hate relationship with his grandfather just as his dad. To put it simple: Heihachi Mishima is Joe Jackson literally putting his son and grandson through near death experiences for his own twisted plans. Where the hell is this in the movie? I don’t see anything dealing with the Devil gene that the Mishima have, why isn’t this represented in this movie? All I see is Heihachi begin a push over as his son Kazuya tries to over throw his father in power for Tekken.
Jin blames Heihachi for his mother death and wants to enter The Iron Fist tournament to avenge her. Kazuya is trying to rub out Jin as he did his mommy. Also Heihachi helped his mother from his son Kazuya. Also Heihachi didn’t know that he had a grandson…oh my goodness He knew the whole time that Kazuya had a child with Jun…..where’s a nail so I can run into it face first? When did Heihachi become a good guy trying to save his grandson …please can you help me!! Also Christie Monteiro and Jin Kazama were never lovers……who the hell came up with this concept?! Christie Monteiro was in loved with Eddy Gordo. Where’s the Chinese girl Ling Xiaoyu that was Jin love interest or should I say in love with Jin since she wants to try save his soul from evil; just as Jun Kazama did with Kazuya Mishima.
PLEASE OH PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY NAMCO LET THIS HAPPEN? There are millions more things wrong with this movie, but I’m only going with what I know from Tekken 1 – 4 video games since I have not played Tekken 5 or 6, nor do I own them.
My next question for Namco is “Why do you continue to let people write these crappy scripts for the video games that you own that actually have a decent, or great, storyline?” And you have bad acting from unknown actors which can’t possibly make you any money in the long run. Didn’t you learn your lesson with Dead or Alive?! I knew not to look at that crap when it came out and I should had known to do the same with this one. Stupid me. I gave it a chance. Turned out to have been an EPIC FAIL. It seriously makes me think you don’t care about the fans like me who would actually care to see a good Tekken movie. ALL I CAN DO IS CRY…..CRY…CRY ='(
