Well someone finally let the cat out the bag and gave the world its first glimpse of the newly re-imagined reboot of the beloved Thundercats cartoon. Warner Bros has been quietly developing this one for some time and have actually gone through a few redesigns and iterations for this franchise before presenting it to the masses and thanks to the guys over at Dark Horizons we finally get our first look at the final designs for our beloved childhood characters re-imagined for the 21st century!
I have to say that I think Lion-O looks like a young Super Saiyan. The redesigns are definitely, initially, off-putting to those of us who grew up on the original cartoon. I think some will be upset with the redesigns, myself included, and I’ll definitely keep an eye out for more information. I think these designs actually have a good shot to grow on me because they really do look good just that they’re not what I’m used to.
