Impressions: Playstation Move + Sharpshooter

I have so much to say on this and I probably won’t be able to say everything. First off, Move is legit. I walked away this weekend absolutely loving the Ping Pong game in the Sports Champion demo. Unlike Wii Tennis, you actually have to hold the controller/paddle straight and can put top spin, back spin, slice, actually lob shots and downward shots. It’s awesome. There are ... Read More!

Quick Thoughts: Enslaved

Plot: The story is a re-imagining of the ancient Chinese story Journey to the West by Wu Cheng’en, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of China. Unlike the original story that was set in a fantastical version of ancient China, the game is set 150 years in a future post-apocalyptic world following a global war, with only remnants of humanity left, along with the still active war ... There has been a ton of speculation and expectations for Microsoft’s breakout hit series Gears of War and now it seems that the mega franchise finally has a release date for the third entry in the series and it will probably clear the calendar and your shelf of anything else from nearing the Xbox disc tray. It’s a bit early and unexpected but the good folks over in the house that ... Read More!

Shane Black to take the Directors seat for Iron Man 3

In totally outrageous News…Jon Favreau is leaving the director seat of Iron Man 3 for Magic Kingdom. WTF Jon I love Disney as much as you, but to do a movie based on infamous theme park and everything comes to life for this one family. Are you having an acid trip with Ringo; John; Paul and Geroge makes me wonder, because this movie sounds like one. Can I have what you are having too?! So ... Read More!

Quick Thoughts: Dead Space 2

I beat Dead Space 2. Fantastic game, which was very much improved from the first game but still followed the same formula. The story is still about survival, nothing more, nothing less. It is open ended and I will definitely be there for the third one. I hope EA goes a bit bigger with scope as I felt this game hinted at a lot more then was revealed… or should I say understood. Still a ... Read More!

Captain America Trailer

The good thing about Super bowl Sunday is that it gives us new commercials. A lot of interesting, ‘meh’ and boring commercials rounded out this year. Captain America…All I can saw I can’t wait. This movie clearly is giving us the origins of Marvel’s most well known patriotic superhero. If most of you don’t know this: Captain America was a solider during World War II by the ... Read More!

Quick Thoughts: No Strings Attached

Caught No Strings Attached, don’t really have a real impression on it. It was tolerable, your standard romcom. It was directed by Ivan Reitman who I thought actually put a little bit more of a whimsical feel to the movie. I don’t know what else to say really, it was predictable, what you expect, it was funny, but still the usual outcome. I do wish some of the cuts particularly ... Read More!
