I beat Dead Space 2. Fantastic game, which was very much improved from the first game but still followed the same formula. The story is still about survival, nothing more, nothing less. It is open ended and I will definitely be there for the third one. I hope EA goes a bit bigger with scope as I felt this game hinted at a lot more then was revealed… or should I say understood. Still a very straight forward game with great gameplay, which cannot be said very often nowadays.
If you want a solid game, this is it. Survival horror done right. The PS3 version came with the Wii Port of Dead Space Extraction. Oh man, does this game ever suck. It literally is on-rails, but you can play 2 player co-op where you are just a cursor, or 2 cursors in co-op. My bro and I didn’t finish the prologue, once we died (he didn’t actually realize what the life bar was) we started to replay an area and said, ok that’s enough. Pretty sure the game took longer to install then what we played. Like the first thing they have you do is bolt in 6 screws! Lol.
