Word has it that Speed racer has been cast, and the winner star is Emile Hirsch. You may remember him from such films as “Alpha Dog,” “The Girl Next Door,” and “The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys“.
Production is scheduled to being in Germany this summer, with Joel Silver (obviously) being involved as producer.
Can’t wait to see how many more characters make their way over into the film.
