You know something, I never thought I would put the words “Darkchylde” and “Movie” together in a sentence and be referring to something real. You know how there are just some things that just sound too good to be true that it falls flatly in the category of “not ever gonna %$@’n happen” like “Justice League Movie” or “Good video game movie” or something along those lines. Then I read the headline over on themovieblog.com that mentions that the project is not only going to be a reality, but it will have John Carpenter himself directing the flick to give a sense of credibility in the whole thing working as a film.
Digging through the wire I was able to find that they not only have a cast set in place, but they have Weta working on the special effects and costuming and even through in some test footage developed by Weta to boot! Where was I when this got off the ground?
