The RZA is taking a shot in the directors seat for a movie that is mix of his love of old Martial Arts films, Westerns, with a splash of hip-hop added into the mix. The movie stars Russell Crowe, Lucy Lui, and Pam Grier in his directorial debut “The Man with the Iron Fist”.
The RZA will not only be directing but starring in it as well and also has the help of Eli Roth and Christopher Doyle in this project. The story seems a bit interesting since it will be taking place in China. The plot is simple village weapon maker foreigners come to invade and also try to conquer village. Weapon maker must rise up to defend his village. VERY SIMPLE….also there is a little extra I want to add in when did Federal China have black/white people living there. Unless the white people are the invaders. Only The RZA would come up with something like this, I love Martial Art films, but something has to give when you do research on things like this to make it sound realistic.
