Marvel’s Anime

Looks like we have a decent comic book series meet anime domination happening now. Over the fall for New York’s annual Big Apple Comic-Con/Anime Festival. I had the pleasure of hearing about some projects that Marvel had in store for us with a three new series and a few more in the making.  In the past I have know that Japan has took a crack at making some of Marvel’s comics into anime series. I only remember X-MEN and Spider-man. Not too pleased with it either. So with that Marvel teamed up with Madhouse who have done animes such as Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Trigun and Di Gi Charat.

While at the Con I had the chance to see a good portion of the Iron-Man series. Where Tony Starks’ plans on giving up the Iron-Man armor and just focus on branching out his business working with Japan. It seems all well until one of the men who tests the armor goes crazed when the armor malfunctions. Which leads to Tony Starks once again donning the Iron-Man armor to stop the guy from causing more destruction.

The other was a Wolverine series. Well it makes sense, and very easy, to make one based on him since he has a lot of background in Japan. With Wolverine you know the X-men come along as well. So now Charles Xavier and his school of gifted mutants are in Japan. Now this is something I’m looking forward to watching.

I really will like to know why they are in Japan? Wolverine he has many reasons that can bring him to Japan if you have enough knowledge to know his background with enemies; lovers and even people he consider like family to him. Well you all can tune in on G4Tv to catch all these new series.
