Bruce Willis is one of the last names I would ever assume to be associated with the G.I. Joe movie franchise, joining names like Channing Tatum and The Rock. Why? I just figured he had finished his go-round of “soldier of war” movies for a bit and might be interested in different pastures. Well, I just learned that I was wrong and the guy does in fact have negotiations open to take ovn as the founder of G.I. Joe

Willis is in talks to play General Joseph Colton, the man who created and commands the elite covert special forces unit which shares the same codename as his own – G.I. Joe.
And that’s that. Either way, I’m interested as this movie is already working in a direction to produce a better film than the original. I didn’t think the original movie was terrible and even enjoyed some of its charm and humor, but the cast that they’re gathering for this movie is already painting a better picture than the memory of my first. Looking forward to some type of confirmation in the near future about this one.
