Here comes DJ Hero

D-Day heroes seems to be Activision’s disc jockey response to their Guitar Hero. This title seems to be very familiar to Guitar Hero in presentation. You have vertical columns from which you will receive notification to hit a note at the correct time. These chords seem to correspond with keys that you’ll press on the guitar… I’m sorry not a guitar,a turntable instrument.

I’m not exactly sure how they’re going to map buttons to two turntables and imitate the sensation of playing a record.I’mnot even sure if it going to take the role of just jockey in the sense of what this jockey who plays in a club, or a disc jockey who produces music, or a disc jockey will just spins records on the radio. This lack of details and clarification are coupling to really making me not too excited about this upcoming title.I’m personally not really into rhythm games but I could take an interest if they’re able to incorporate music that I like into a rhythm based game.

I’m not really a fan of the idea of playing a guitar. I’ve never played guitar hero, or rock band,or any comparable guitar-based title.Never had the appeal. What I’m looking for is taste in a nice sampling of music and nice fun way to play. I’m not biased against that those styles of music but without areal interest in playing guitar, what am I doing playing guitar hero??Hopefullythis upcoming title will answer a lot of the questions I raised and excite me and us in ways that we never imagined. Here’slooking forward to DJ hero.
