This Friday I took a chance to go see a movie and I saw Devil. I have to say that the worst mistake I made in my life. I seriously don’t understand how M. Night continues to be involved with movies. Why hasn’t he been banned from Hollywood. This movie was worst than The Happening!
To make a long story short this movie is based on an idea of when the devil comes to prey on people. It all begins with a suicide. Which leads into five random people who all get in a elevator. Each of these people have come to this building for different reasons. We have no idea what the reasons are till they get on the elevator till later on down in the movie, but everyone of them have a history being that the devil chose them for his meeting. Yes, the whole point of this is watch as the devil kills each of the people on the elevator. I mean my friend and I watched and just turned our heads and nod at each other every time it went dark and there was another murder. The only funny part was looking at Jay Hunter as he prayed in spanish and went on about the story his mother told him a long tiem ago about the Devil.
Knowing this is a M. Night movie he always needs to have a twist at the end of everything. I’m not going to ruin teh twist for you, but pay clos attention to what the dective talks aboutthrough the whoel movie. He kinds of do thing taht remind sme what he did about mel Gibson charcter an dhow he lost his wif ein signs. It seems a bit simalir to me which is why I stated that, but he is upset over teh whoel ordeal and wishes he coudl had foudn out who did this to his family.
One thing that pisses me off was “why did they bring an actor like Brookem Wa and have him play in Devil?”. I know he hasn’t had a movie in a while, but damn really. I’m upset you did that to him like with John Leg and Zoeey in the Happening. Really M. Night…you need to be shot!!
I don’t think I need to say this but sum it up in a few words. This movie was awful to sit through. I’m upset I wasted my money on this taking a chance trying to give M. Night a second chance, but he failed. You drove me to drink my self silly after watching that movie. Thanks.
