From a playability standpoint this game is really long, some 52 levels I believe it was. I don’t even know what the final time stamp was on the game, but it took about 3-4 days of solid sessions, basically time you actually commit to playing a game cause you need X amount of hours to play and progress far enough. Having watched/played a bit of the stages of Castlevania, then beating Fist ... Read More!

Re-Cap: Fist of the North Star
Average game is average, news at 11. It’s a C game, it’s a 65-73% game on the % scale. Was it fun to play? Absolutely. Was it a bit repetitive? For sure. Is there a lot of replay? Hell yes. This game truly appeals to the fan and that’s the draw. I’ve waited for a game like this for a very long time and it’s made me want to re-watch Fist of the North Star I beat ... Read More!
Re-Cap: Castlevania
This is a good game. However that in itself is it’s problem. Remember when I said this game at moments felt like God of War, but never reached that pinnacle of being as good or better, but it would have moments. It’s like climbing a hill and you’re right at the top, just there, maybe 1-2 steps away but for the life of you, you can’t reach the top. Something always ... Read More!
Green Lantern mini-preview
Thanks to the Movie Blog I found that EW has a 30 second mini video preview of the upcoming Green Lantern movie. What is there to say? Well, one could make quite a few obvious observations. This is not the Hal Jordan we know from the comics. A few quick back handed comments out of Ryan Reynolds mouth and we find that this GL has a sense of humor. Not surprising as I’ve yet to see a comic ... Read More!
Impressions: Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage
I picked up Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage for the PS3. The game was monotonous at first, slow paced but it’s become more fun as I upgrade along. It’s basically Dynasty Warriors with The Fist of the North Star skin. There is more to it, I had to unlock coop which I haven’t even touched yet and was the main reason I got the game for my brother and I to sit down button ... Read More!
Trailer: The Warriors Way
If it wasn’t for the TV spot I would have let this one go by the wayside. The Warrior’s Way is coming, and it’s coming out swinging! The imagery and action remind me of a mix of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “Hero” with a bit of Zack Snyder for good measure. I’m a sucker for karate flicks and have developed a mild interest in westerns thanks to the story that was given in ... Read More!
Just Sayin: Microsoft Kinect
Microsoft made a mistake. Not the first time, and not something that will cripple them, but it’s a mistake nonetheless. I don’t buy into the whole “you are the controller” thing. I know some people are going bat crazy over the whole thing, but I will not submit. I actually stopped by to see the guys waiting in line the day before launch. Truthfully, I wasn’t at ... Read More!

Incoming: Darkchylde Movie
You know something, I never thought I would put the words “Darkchylde” and “Movie” together in a sentence and be referring to something real. You know how there are just some things that just sound too good to be true that it falls flatly in the category of “not ever gonna %$@’n happen” like “Justice League Movie” or “Good video game ... Incoming: Super Street Fighter 4 Costume Pack
I don’t like the idea of Super Street Fighter 4. Period. I like the game well enough, but I hate the idea of its existence. The game is a remixed, refined, re-released version of Street Fighter 4, what’s not to like? The fact that the game wasn’t DLC is one reason, and the fact that the additions aren’t as re-defining as one would hope given the time between the release between the ... Read More!
